Layne tends to smoke compulsively but not often. When he smokes, it’s not something he can help. It’s done without him thinking about it but he only goes through at least 2 a day. Once one has burned down, he doesn’t feel the urge anymore unless something gets to him. It helps him to relax when he’s angry or just to give him something to do when he’s bored. In his main verse, he’ll only smoke cigarettes and keep himself under control before, during, and a couple hours after school. His smoking is usually done in the evening. But in his other verses, he smokes a bit more often, and half the time, he’s smoking pot. Though the latter is only ever done when he’s really gotten mad. He needs the mellow from the high to balance the rage and tamper everything down. Elsewise, he flies off the handle
