Emery was still getting used to the difference in freedom from high school to college. And being without any parental help, he kind of had to figure it all out on his own. Honestly, he was surprised that he managed to keep with it and get everything ready for college without any help. But he was determined to have an education so more opportunities would be available to him. Plus, he was genuinely excited to be a nurse in the future and help people.

Got a degree for Art in Secondary Education and minored in psychology. Two areas that fit together as well as cooking and rocket science. Just the thought of that comparison had him laughing a little. He waved Emery closer to help him fill out the the outline, letting him start at the head as Layne went and started on something right next to it. A quick look at the design paper he had taped to the bare spots on the wall told him what belonged there and he started ahead.
