Currently, even though he was whispering, that was probably the closest he could get to shouting. Once again, why was he even working with this idiot? Yes they understood each other and were fairly similar in temperament but that also made it so difficult at times. Yes, he will definitely punch him once they are done with this job.

At least he warned him what would happen the next time it’d happen. His gaze moved towards the griffins and he let out a curse under his breath. A good enough reason to have pulled him back but just informing him would have worked as well.

Or he would have heard them anyway. The beasts weren’t exactly known for being quiet and they were making it well known already. He took another look at the dueling creatures before slipping back out of sight.
