boone was shocked of course that his prank made him get kicked out. then again, he was semi glad as well. he was tired of being in the fraternity and living in the closet. so when the dollar scholars all voted for boone to leave, all he did was comply. chad didn’t want this too happen, but as president he had no choice, since it was almost a majority vote.
so now boone had no choice but to live in the dorms for the time being until he either made his way to the kappa’s and pledged or until he found an apartment to live. but he thought that maybe he might enjoy the dorm life, even though it was filled with mostly weirdos and freshmen. he just hoped his roommate was normal.
when he arrived to his room he looked over at his new roommate and he blinked when the other just signaled him to his side of the room.
“ wow, you seem cheerful. ”
“ wouldn’t you be if you had to give up the peacefulempty space in your room? ”
sarcasm was just about dripping from each word. needless to say, he wasn’t pleased about the arrangement and probably would never be. but he’d accommodate. hopefully this guy wouldn’t be staying for long and go chasing after some fraternity. or he’d just stay quiet and layne wouldn’t have to worry about getting a new, and possible worse, roommate.
maybe he should give the kid a chance. regardless of the reservations layne had against having a roommate, the guy just walked in. it wouldn’t exactly kill him to try and be nice or polite.
a sigh escaped as he closed his sketchbook, though it stayed in his lap. he picked his head up to look at the other, brows furrowing in recognition now that he actually took a moment to see him. it took a moment before he was able to pin down where he’d seen the guy. the memory of almost getting hit with a golf ball because of the dollar scholars surfaced.
